From October 20–25, three representatives from the Department of Public Safety (DPS), together with an officer from CNMI Customs & Biosecurity, participated in a week-long, 40-hour training program on Cyber Education & Awareness and Cyber Investigations held in Dili, Timor-Leste.
The training was facilitated by expert instructors from the Australian Federal Police, Cook Islands Police, and Samoa Police. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in addressing emerging cyber threats, promoting cyber awareness, and enhancing investigative techniques related to cybercrime.
The Department of Public Safety and Customs & Biosecurity extend their sincere appreciation to the Australian Federal Police and Cyber Safety Pasifika for their generous support in funding this training and for their ongoing commitment to strengthening law enforcement across the Pacific Islands.
